So today…
I’ll take another picture.
I’ll listen to one more story that doesn’t make sense.
I’ll answer “why?” a hundred times.
I’ll hold on a little longer when those tiny arms wrap around my neck.
Because childhood never asks if we’re ready for it to end.
It simply grows.
And all we’re left with are photographs that somehow manage to hold laughter, hugs, sleepy eyes, sticky fingers, and pieces of our hearts.
Maybe that’s why I keep taking pictures.
Not because I want to remember how little you were…
But because I never want to forget how deeply you made me feel.
One day, you’ll outgrow my lap… but you’ll never outgrow my heart. ❤️✨
