Your Child Doesn’t Need Another Screen. They Need You.

We often worry about teaching our children the alphabet, numbers, colours, and shapes.

But before a child learns to read a book, they learn to read the world.

Today, a simple shadow became our classroom.

Together we explored:☀️ Big and small📏 Tall and short⬅️ Left and right⚪ Round and curved 👣 Movement, observation, imagination, and laughter

No expensive toys. No worksheets. No mobile phone.

Just a mother, a curious little girl, and a few moments that quietly shaped her mind.

Children are born scientists. They learn by touching, experimenting, asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering patterns. Every walk, every shadow, every leaf, every puddle is an opportunity to learn.

Some of the most important lessons cannot be taught through a screen.

They are experienced through connection.

As parents, our goal shouldn’t be to raise children who can simply recite A, B, C at an early age.

Our goal should be to raise children who can:

🌱 Think independently.

💡 Solve problems.

❤️ Communicate with kindness.

🔍 Observe carefully.

🎨 Create fearlessly.

❓Ask meaningful questions.

📚 Love learning for life.

Because knowing the alphabet is a skill. Knowing how to use knowledge is wisdom.

Let’s stop asking,

“How early can my child memorize?”

And start asking,

“How deeply can my child understand?”

Books will always have their place.

But childhood is too precious to be spent only memorizing pages or staring at screens.

Give them experiences. Give them conversations. Give them nature. Give them your time.

Those moments are the lessons they’ll carry long after they’ve forgotten the alphabet. 🤍
